Bill Brinker is the founder of the Company and its retired Chairman. While Bill is no longer active in the day-to-day operations, he continues to provide counsel to the Company, pursues business development opportunities, and maintains an ownership position. Bill has developed, owned, and operated over 30 LFGTE projects over the course of his career. He was the National Co-Chair of the Solid Waste Association of North America and has been recognized multiple times by industry leaders for his accomplishments including the EPA's Landfill Methane Outreach Program (“LMOP”) Industry Partner Award 1999, the EPA's LMOP Project of the Year 200, the North Carolina Leadership in Sustainability award for the decade from the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association, the EPA's LMOP electric project of the year in 2008, the EPA's LMOP Industry Ally of the Year in 2011, and the Lifetime Achievement Award presented by SWANA.
William has participated in the construction and management of numerous Gas Control and Collection Systems and beneficial end-use projects across the country. William works in new business development and currently oversees the operations of all of The Landfill Group's beneficial use projects. He is also the Managing Member & President of Advance One Development and Managing Member of Advanced Biogas Systems. William earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC.
Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Integrator
Chris joined The Landfill Group in June 2015. Prior to his time at The Landfill Group, Chris worked at Macquarie Capital in their investment banking division where his main responsibilities included M&A advisory and well as capital raises in both the public and private markets. Prior to Macquarie, Chris worked for Comerica Bank where he focused on providing debt financing to companies in both the waste and landfill gas to energy industries. Chris earned an MBA from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wheaton College.
Director of Sales and Project Delivery
Mike is responsible for oversight of sales and project delivery for the Company and its operating divisions. Prior to joining the Landfill Group in 2018, Mike spent over 19 years with Caterpillar in its Michigan CAT dealership where he held many positions in sales and service. His involvement in biogas/RNG dates back to 2007 when he began oversight of sales and long-term operations of landfill gas-to-energy sites for Michigan CAT. In this role Mike oversaw sales and ongoing support for over 300MW of electrical generation from landfill gas projects across the country.
Director of Operations, EHS, and Engineering
Tim began work with Enerdyne in March 2014. Prior to joining the Enerdyne team, he was the corporate environmental director at Hydro Aluminum North America where his responsibilities included all matters involving environmental, health and safety. In previous roles, Mr. Keesling’s engineering experience has been used in air and wastewater permitting, hazardous waste handling and process system design and operations. Tim has a BS in Civil Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
Construction Manager, Advance One
Andrew began his career with Advance One after graduating from college and has over ten years of landfill gas system construction and maintenance experience. As Construction Manager, Andrew oversees all operations of the Advance One construction crew including project bidding, job scheduling and Company resource allocation. Mr. Murrer earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC.
Director of Operations, Advanced Biogas Systems
Steve has over ten years of landfill gas processing, treatment and power generation experience and has assisted with the design, setup and implementation of dozens of end use and power generation projects. Steve currently manages the day to day operations of Advanced Biogas Systems as its Director of Operations. Steve is also the Technical Director for the Landfill Group where he assists in the training and technical support, and works on new project development. Mr. Allman has 17 years of experience in Plant Management, Process and Product Design Engineering with Perfection Gear, Inc., and seven years of experience as a manufacturing Process Engineer / Product Design engineer with Carolina Knife Inc. He holds multiple industry qualifications and certifications and has been a licensed North Carolina electrician since 1987.
Controller, Office Manager, and HR Director
Kat joined Enerdyne in 2007, bringing 25 years of business management, accounting and startup experience. She manages a team who provide Accounting, Human Resources, Tax Grants, Credits and Exemptions, and Corporate records for all business within the Landfill Group. Kat works with her team to manage the diverse accounting and state business authority requirements for the 20 companies under the Landfill Group umbrella.
Controller, Office Manager, and HR Director
Crystal joined Enerdyne in August of 2020. Prior to joining the Enerdyne team, she was Controller at RCS Corporation, a recruiting firm that specializes in finding talent in the Energy / Engineering / Utility Industry. She manages a team who provide Accounting, Human Resources, Tax Grants, Credits and Exemptions, and Corporate records for all business within the Landfill Group. Crystal works with her team to manage the diverse accounting and state business authority requirements for the 20 companies under the Landfill Group umbrella. Crystal has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Appalachian State University.
