A Complete Solution
For Beneficial Use Of Landfill Gas

Complete Landfill Gas Collection Systems

Landfill gas (LFG) is a natural byproduct of the decomposition of organic material in landfills and is combined with roughly 50% methane, 50% carbon dioxide and a small amount of non-methane organize compounds. Landfill Gas can be captured, converted and used as a renewable resource instead of escaping into the air.

There are many benefits to collecting and treating these emissions ranging from environmental improvements and quality of life for the entire community to being able to produce revenue for the landfill owner.

Collecting landfill gases helps to reduce odors and other hazards associated with landfill gas emissions. By converting the gas into energy, it helps prevent methane from migrating into the atmosphere, contributing to local smog and global climate change. Landfill gas assists in creating the air free of contamination and odor.

How We Can Help

At Advance One, we are an industry leader in developing landfill gas collection systems, providing the full range of construction and quality assurance services for all elements of municipal and hazardous waste landfills and solid waste facilities, LFG extraction, and migration controls, and other environmental construction projects.

How Do We Do It?

Landfill Gas is collected in wells and piped to a treatment system (all on premise) to remove moisture and other contaminants. Once collected and treated, we can then use the clean gas in various ways. We have the experience and skillset to handle a wide range of operations including:

  • Drilling
  • Well Construction
  • Vacuum Piping
  • Fusion Work
  • Blower-Flare Station
  • Landfill Gas To Energy
  • Pipe Fusing
  • Operation and Maintenance
